Kounopetra is located in Akrotiri of Palliki, south of the village of Mantzavinata and the name kounopetra testifies to the reason why the area got its name.  A large rock in the sea was constantly shaking and so her name was born. This phenomenon is still visible today as you can easily spot this rock because it is painted.

Akrotiri beach is close to the area of ​​Kounopetra. It is a small, picturesque and quiet beach with sunbeds. Just above is a tavern with rich and delicious appetizers to whet your appetite.

Vatsa is a famous small sandy beach 15 km south of Lixouri. Everyone who has visited it has described it as an earthly paradise, because it is a peaceful and secluded place. There you will find both the picturesque and unique river.
